Detailed Travel Itinerary with Amazing Andean Adventures
After the International flight from Home you will arrive in Lima, where our representative will be waiting for you and transfer you to your hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel Wyndham at the Airport.
Morning flight to Cusco, at 11,023 ft. Capital of the Inca Empire. Here you’ll meet your guide for your Cusco tour at the Cusco airport pickup and be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax, and get use to the altitude, feel free to enjoy the charming city of Cusco and visit the suggested Museums.
Overnight at the Hotel Casa Andina Private Collection, or similar.
After breakfast at the Hotel, you will have a morning guided tour to visit the historic sites of Cusco, the colonial Cathedral and the impressive Santo Domingo Church. We will then transfer you to the nearby Archeological sites of Sacsayhuaman with its megalithic stone Walls; Qenqo, with its carved stone surfaces and subterranean altars; and the water temple Tambo Machay. Drive back to your hotel in Cusco.

This will be a long guided excursion journeying through the magnificent Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be at the llama farm, here you will have the chance to admire the different species of South American Camelot Such us Llamas, Alpacas, and Vicuñas. After which we will make a short stop at the Taray view point from where we will take pictures of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way, your tour guide will take you past Inca terracing that climbs steep valleys into Pisaq another amazing Inca City. After our visit to the archeological site, we will have time to explorer the traditional and colorful Market of Pisaq, one of the best textile markets in the Andes. There, you’ll be able to look for souvenirs and learn about the local culture, lunch here and then we have a beautiful ride along the Sacred Valley. The next stop is Ollantaytambo at 9,200 ft. This is a small town with impressive Inca remains.
Stay overnight at the Hotel Pakaritampu, or similar.
After a delicious breakfast we will pick you up in our private van and we’ll begin our drive to the High pass of Puerto Malaga 14,268 ft. the highest limits of the Andes Mountains. We will keep stopping for Photo opportunities and them we begin our first adventure. As we take a downhill ride on a mountain Bike we will descend from the hight pass all the way in to the jungle with spectacular views of the Snow covered mountain Veronica. Finally we’ll reach the district of Santa Maria,. On the afternoon well do our river rafting tour two hours approximately, finally Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight at in a homestay.
After a nice breakfast in the local restaurant, our adventure continue next to the main river Urubamba which we’ll cross by a footbridge, on the route we appreciate a variety of local fruits such as bananas, mangoes, oranges, “etc”, then we will join up with a remaining Inca trail in the Jungle a beautifull narrow path that will bring us to the top of the slopes above the Urubamba river the trail will take us through many coffee and cocoa Plantations, lunch at a family home in the area. And then our trek continues on the beautiful valley Until we arrive to Santa Teresa where we will rest for the night in a local Hostal. In the Evening we will visit the Hot Springs of Cocalmayo.
This is a day full of activities at first we will do (Cola de Mono) Zip Line, six cable over a valley enjoying the beauty of the Peruvian rain forest, after which we wil be transported to the Hydroelectric of Machu Picchu from here we will hike Approximately 3hours until we arrive to Aguas Calientes. We will check in to El Mapi Hotel or similar. Afternoon bus up to Machu Picchu for Pictures.
On our second day at Machu Picchu we will have the opportunity to climb to the famous Wayna Picchu peak or the Sacred Machu Picchu peak for a perfect view of the entire Inca City, Lunch at the town of Aguas Calientes before the train ride back to the Sacred Valley and Cusco. Overnight stay at Casa Andina, Private Collection or Similar.
After a Delicious breakfast you will be transferred to the Airport in Cusco where you will take your flight to Lima, and Home.

We were recommended this company by our neighbor. Ruben/Juan was great with questions and provided a lot of valuable information as I was planning parts on my own instead using a set tour, partially due to wanting to climb one of the optional peaks which you need to book months in advance. We then hit a snag with my wife’s passport and Ruben happily rearranged the tour for us even though we gave last minute notice.
Our tour guide Wagner met us where the bus dropped us of (can be arranged to pick up from your hotel as well), and we spent the next two hours learning a lot about the history of the site and he took us away from the crowds, and accommodated our photos requests. After we hung around and explored on our own until it was time to leave….

There was one special guide that we will never forget. Dany met us at our hotel in Agnes Calientes and was very patient as our train was late arriving. His knowledge of the history and culture of the Incans made the tour of Machu Picchu come alive! We were fortunate to have Dany for two days, always upbeat, helpful, fun, and competent.
