Our mountain This Peru bike tour follows a historic route through the mysterious Inca ruins of Maras, Moray and traverses a 600 years old salt mine still in use. The tour include a variety of terrain such as challenging mountain passes, narrow canyons, flat stretches and long twisty descents on rural Andean country roads. Suitable for all kind of people, you just need a little experience.
Early in the morning we will collect passengers from their hotels for a 1 hour bus ride passing small Andean villages and beautiful landscapes. Before we start our biking tour, your guide will give a safety instruction about hoe to manuever the bikes. Once in the bikes we will start going dow hill for about 15 minutes until we arrive to a viewpoint where we can see a spectacular scenery of the Sacred valley together with all the snow-capped mountains as Veronica, Sahuasiray, Chicon etc. We continue on a rocky downhill for 45 minutes through the town of Maras and there-after to Moray, a unique Inca complex, which is said to be an experimental area for agriculture. While we are enjoying the view of this magical place, we will have a nice picnic lunch. We continue to the Salt Flats, these salt mines have captured salt water from a natural spring before pre-Inca times. We finish our trip in the Sacred Valley where our private vehicle will be waiting for us to take us back to Cusco our designed Hotel.
